  • Welcome to the Blanchardstown and Castleknock History Society website

Our aim is to promote the culture, heritage, folklore, flora and fauna of the greater Dublin 15 area. We encourage members to share knowledge on topics of history, culture and heritage. We organise regular outings to places of interest. Talks usually take place in the Blanchardstown Public Library, or other local venues as advised. There is no charge for the talks for members. The annual membership can be paid at any talk, outing or online.

Blanchardstown and Castleknock History Society was established for people living in Dublin 15 or with connections to the area, to attend talks and outings on historic topics.
